I always loved drawing turtles and frogs in high school, so when I was asked to do a piece "turtle and frog themed" for my nephew's nursery I was thrilled! I pulled out my signature skinny frog sketches from the '90's, scribbled around with them a bit, and re-invented him with more character...and his dear friend, Mr. Turtle. =] Illustration certainly isn't my strength, but this piece reminded me of how much fun I used to have in putting together a simple doodle, and inventing an unique character to call my own...if only I had the time to doodle more often... =]
